Certified Medical Assistants

Cascade Orthopaedics is seeking experienced and reliable Certified Medical Assistants (CMA). This is a Full-Time position with no weekends.


The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks.
Essential Skills: Communicate via phone and email with patients in a professional manner. Use pre-defined clinical protocols and identify special needs and take the proper steps to ensure patient appointments are scheduled appropriately. Demonstrate the ability to multitask so that priority items are completed on time each day. Appropriately escalate issues outside of existing protocols to meet the needs of the patient. Work well with a diverse group of professionals in a team environment.
Medical Assistant Qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Current and must be able to provide proof of certification, 3 years related experience, fluent in medical terminology and pain management and musculoskeletal anatomy needed. Knowledge in insurance verification, and L&I a plus. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Works efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, clinic environment. Experienced in properly handling confidential and sensitive information, knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations. Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical practice management, and electronic medical record systems.

Required Certifications:
• Washington State DOH Medical Assistant Certification
• Must have a current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
