Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Cascade Orthopaedics is seeking experienced and reliable Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) to handle inbound and outbound communications for our offices in Auburn and Bonney Lake. These calls involve a wide range of clinical and administrative requests from patients, including but not limited to appointment scheduling, visit preparation, medication refills and reconciliation, and follow-up care coordination. This is a Full-Time position with no weekends. The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of clinical, administrative tasks under the direction of the Operations Manager. Essential Skills: Communicate via phone, online chats and emails with patients in a professional manner. Use pre-defined clinical protocols and identify special needs and take the proper steps to ensure patient appointments are scheduled appropriately. Demonstrate the ability to multitask so that priority items are completed on time each day. Appropriately escalate issues outside of existing protocols to meet the needs of the patient. Work well with a diverse group of professionals in a team environment. Medical Assistant Qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Current and must be able to provide proof of certification, 5 years related experience, fluent in medical terminology and orthopaedics and musculoskeletal anatomy needed. Knowledge in insurance verification, and L&I a plus. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Works efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, clinic environment. Experienced in properly handling confidential and sensitive information, knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations. Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical practice management, and electronic medical record systems. Required Qualifications & Certifications:

• Must have a current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Referral Coordinator


Cascade Orthopaedics is a fast paced and growing orthopedic practice seeking an experienced and reliable Referral Coordinator. This is a Part-Time position with no weekends that can eventually grow into a full time position. The Referral Coordinator position aides in the patient flow process by ensuring proper authorization for procedures and appointments are obtained according to company policy and/or physician preference. The Referral Coordinator functions as the liaison between the patient and clinic as a primary point of contact to ensure their experience with Cascade is of the highest standard. Ideal candidate for this position is friendly, outgoing, organized, hardworking, dependable, flexible, experienced in insurance and, scheduling. Must be detailed and goal-oriented. Required Qualifications & Certifications:
• One to Three years’ experience as a Referral Coordinator in a healthcare environment preferred.
